Happy birthday, Jarrad

Joining Jarrad Williams at Tara Raceway last Sunday to help celebrate his 33rd birthday were Hadlie, Elaine, Kaia, Kerry Hawker and Mister Cadillac, winner of the Commercial Hotel Open Stake (400 m).

Tara Raceway – Sunday, March 23

Enjoying a day out at Tara Raceway last Sunday were holiday makers Shirley and Bruce Tribe, residents of Tenterfield in NSW for the past 45 years. And for a little piece of trivia – Australian entertainer Peter Allen was born in Tenterfield and made the town famous with his song Tenterfield Saddler, about his grandfather George Woolnough.

Tara Raceway – Thursday, February 27

It seems that recently there’s been a real influx of people by the name of David Lewis frequenting the Tara Raceway meetings. Always there is MGGRC committee member David Lewis who also contributes greyhound news to the local media. Another David Lewis is the recently-appointed Greyhound Racing SA chair who paid the club a visit last week. And last Thursday it was David Lewis of Busselton in WA and wife Sarah, holidaying in SA for the past two months, who enjoyed a day at the dogs. Their next stop is Port Campbell as they continue on their way to Cairns.
