It was only a fortnight ago at Tara Raceway that Edenhope trainer Cap Abbott ran the quinella in the Greg Martlew Autos Stake (512 m) with Bab’s Jakit and Free Fury.

The only trouble was that by the time Abbott had returned with the pair for a photograph the event had been declared a no race.

Fast forward to last Sunday and Bab’s Jakit and Free Fury once again ran the quinella, this time in the Gordon Refrigeration Stake (512 m), Abbott no doubt relieved to hear the “all clear” given.

A winner of four races at Tara Raceway this year, the John Dihm owned Bab’s Jakit is by Collision out of Wentworth Park winner Cyanide.
