Greyhound Racing SA has released the conditions for this year’s SA Country Cup, the final of which will be run at Angle Park over 530 metres on Friday, October 7 to coincide with the running of the Adelaide Cup.
The event is open to all SA greyhounds that are not above Grade 5 at Angle Park (Angle Park City A meeting only) over 530 metres at the time of nomination.
However, the Mount Gambier Greyhound Racing Club is permitted to include non-SA trainers provided that the trainer has had starters at 15 Mount Gambier meetings in the previous 12 months.
Heats may comprise eight greyhounds however the final will be a G-SIX event. Qualifying heats will be run at Mount Gambier over 512 metres on Sunday, September 25.
