The SA greyhound racing industry has been saddened by the passing of Hilton Donaldson – at his peak a race caller of the highest standard.
SA greyhound racing was central to Donaldson’s early career when at 5AA in the early 1990s. He went on call the three codes with a colourful style and was a long-time host of the Catching Pen program on Sky Channel.
Donaldson, 60, returned to Adelaide in the mid-2000s and was a regular at Angle Park for many years prior to deteriorating health issues.
