On his 86th birthday, Allen Peckham called into see his son David at Tara Raceway. Allen, a former leading trainer, won the 1994 Mount Gambier Cup with Argyle Sally and in 1998 was awarded life membership of the Mount Gambier Greyhound Racing and Coursing Club Inc.
