The change to policy from the 1st October 2025 is specific to certain events depending on nominations received –
- Maidens are 6 dog fields except for specific feature heats/final with added prize money they will be an 8 dog final. New policy is all Maidens, Juveniles and Masters events are 6 dog fields only
- Angle Park Tuesday night and Saturday morning Time Grading – 342m only events and 6 dog fields only. No change
- Time Graded and Pathway events – All distances 8 dog fields where possible. New policy all Time Graded and Pathway events are 6 dog fields only
- Angle Park Thursday nights – 8 dog fields (excluding Maidens) where possible and 12 events New policy Angle Park Thursday nights – 8 dog fields where possible and 12 events however all Maidens, Juveniles and Masters events are 6 dog fields only
- Other meetings – 8 dog Quad (races 5 – 8 where possible) other events 6 dog fields. No change
- All Grade 6 events, 400m or less are 6 dog fields only. New policy added
