Greyhounds had the time of their lives after the lure arm became detached from the lure carriage just after the conclusion of the Greg Martlew Autos Stake (400 m). Stewards, after viewing all the video footage, determined that no runner had been impacted by the incident and posted all clear – the winner being the Tracie Price trained Velocity Alibi (No. 6).
